COVID Vaccination

It has been a long time since I’ve last written on something. This year, 2021 marks the 5th anniversary of Wawa’s remission. It’s a big hooray for us and a great relief for her.

Then Covid hits.. Are you planning to send your children for the Pfizer vaccine?

Well, I am. Wawa is going for her national COVID vaccine. However because of her childhood cancer history, I got caught in dilemma. Fortunately, I was able to reach out to her team of medical specialists for advice.

Before the vaccination for a peace of mind, I made arrangements for review with her Oncologist and Dermatologist. To better assess her current health status blood test were performed. Soon, she was all cleared for her COVID jab.

One week prior her 1st jab, my parents gave her 3x fresh coconut juice to “cool” her body. Wawa took her first Pfizer jab on June 2021. Thank god she only suffer from a sore arm. I guess with this, we are all set for jab #2 in August 2021.

FYI: If your children is 13 years old and above (based on date of birth) on the day of jab, he or she must walk into the vaccination hall him or herself.
